This is one of those oddball things we found out thanks to a podcast. No Gods, No Mayors which does rundowns of mayors who have been involved in crimes either in office or out. Hearing the hosts refer heavily to Wikipedia made me check on the Biography of a Living Person article....
.....And there was this bizarre notice that if the article were not modified by August 19, it would be taken down (!) under "Proposed deletion"...and then it was! The only way to read the article is through archive.org right now, entirely because one person decided that this article was "not notable".
But before we discuss the dipshit behind this vaporization we need to talk about Laura Maczka herself.
Her Honor, The Mayor....
Laura Gibbs Maczka Jordan was the sole female mayor of Richardson, Texas from 2013-2015. Before that she had been on the city council from 2011 one of six women elected to the council in the past forty years (Richardson became a city in 1958). She was also one of the first to be directly elected by the people in the town because Richardson was one of those burgs where the city council chose the mayor before the charter was changed before the election. Pretty quickly she got involved with Mark Jordan and his real estate scheme, which is why she was a subject of No Gods, No Mayors; the whole thing became a ball of corruption as the Republican mayor was wined, dined, given money, items to approve this construction project....she was in so deep she married the guy in 2017. By 2018 she and husband were indicted, there was a first trial (2019) on multiple counts of "honest services wire fraud" (i.e. committing wire fraud while in government service) and bribery....which was overturned on appeal (2020) because a Bailiff was caught talking to the jury. The second trial ran from July 5, 2021 to August 6, 2022 which accused them of tax fraud and doing illegal things with federal funds -- both Laura G. M. Jordan and Mark Jordan got six year terms. Barring early release, both of them will be in until 2028. Here's the US Attorney's Office crowing about it in 2022.
The Wiki-Moron, Explicit
Explicit has been on en.Wikipedia since 2007. Allegedly South Korean or just living there, what he brings to the table is a relentless willingness to delete everything in the wiki on "notability grounds". It looks like he is trying to delete every local government article on Richardson, Texas that mentions Laura Maczka, including their present mayor, Amir Omar. I ran everything past Eric Barbour on the message board, he feels that Explicit is the sockpuppet of a longtime somebody (I agree with that), and agrees with me that what happened to the Laura Maczka BLP might have been a "paid deletion" at the behest of Maczka. If so, there needs to be some sort of investigation at en.Wikipedia. If....on the other hand, this is all a giant coincidence, Explicit needs to be investigated anyway for all the deletions. Somebody needs to ask him "What is your deal, dude?"
