January Grab-Bag.

I decided to look at some things old and new, updating the old and trying to introduce the reader to some of the things I read/see online.

Ralph Gordon Stair is STILL Dead

If you are reading this then R.G. Stair did not ressurect, Christ did not come back, and the Pope was not vaporized or turned into red guacamole and we are all not in Fundie Heaven (which is everybody else's Hell). Stair was supposed to come back in late September or early October and just didn't. He is survived by the Gawdawful Overcomers Ministry website, the ranty Christian criticism site Brother R.G. Stair, and hundreds of hours on the air yelling into microphones. Allan Weiner of WBCQ-SW still has not apologized for backing a creepy cultist, but then he is hip-deep with the World's Last Chance flat-earth cult as well.....so Weiner is doomed.

The buried: Ayn Rand Contra Human Nature

Ayn Rand Contra Human Nature was first a book in 2001 and then a blog in 2006 written by Greg Nyquist. He has spent the last sixteen years writing about Rand's philosophical failings, the story of "Founder's College" the world's sole Ayn Rand-based college that went under after five years, the idiotic drama behind the Atlas Shrugged film trilogy (the first film bombed, the rest were fund-raised to completion), and other jazz like how Carl Barney (an ex-Scientologist "Mission Holder") got into the Ayn Rand Institute while running a sketchy for-profit college. If Mike Huben's Critiques of Libertarianism site was not broken and the original was not link-rotted to Hell, I would be discussing that here.
