Above: What the facade looks like on Lindo Paseo. Notice that every light is on inside every room and under each balcony, and that the roof railing (yes, they have spaces for sunbathing on the roof) is unfinished. Those "spikes" on the left are for a loader with forklift "tongs" that was/is parked on the street.
Below: The corner of Lindo Paseo and 55th Street. You can see how stark each of those balconies are. The vertical "Victory" sign is still off the building.
Above: Just how unfinished the walkway is in front of the building. They have less than thirty days as of August 1st to get this property to a point where even drunk college students would find things acceptable.
Below: No grass in front of the building.
Above: More dirt, this time in the front corner of 55th Street and the alley behind the construction site.
Below: The big shocker, They Haven't Poured the Pool Yet. That might be a sign that the managers will be offering a one-month discount if the pool hasn't cured by the start of school.
Below: They have a pool house, but no pool. They want to charge people $2200 a month for five people to live together on one floor. At least they have separate bedrooms.
Below: A series of photos of what the rest of the buliding looks like. Front facade below.
Notice the use of windways (below). All the apartments are doubles or triples....if the university collapsed and this property had to be rebuilt into normal apartments, all of them would have weird separation walls.
Every light in the building was on, possibly as a test of the wiring (notice the light above is off.)
Who to blame for all this.

Above: This power box will either vanish or be encased by the time the building opens.
All of this reminds me of the former Edge at Avenue North across the street from Temple University in Philadephia. Nobody loved it, and now they hide under the name Avery Philly, but those that know, know.
