Short Post: Chris Chappell Fights Back From the Grave!

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you will remember China Uncensored and it's now-obsolete Colbert Report-era knockoff Chris Chappell. Well, like with many video shows, China Uncensored now has a podcast addition which they call China Unscripted.

Above: Chris, his sassy editor Shelly Zhang, and another dude talk to Bolivian Kent State alumna Jhanisse Vaca-Daza on the overthrow of Evo Morales, whom she and the China Uncensored/China Unscripted consider a dictator. The Cold War style anti-Communism of the show is an extension of how Chris and his crew are involved in the Falun Gong/Falun Dafa and work around the group's New Tang Dynasty satellite TV channel - Li Hongzhi, the founder of the religion, decided that fighting the Chinese Communist Party through John Birch Society paranoia was the way to go once the Party and the PRC government began cracking down on chi gung-style folk religions/self-improvement groups in the 1990s. This is why major metropolitan areas are flooded with Falum Gong's Epoch Times "news"paper.

The trio talking to Paul Mooney (not that one) a freelance journalist; he spoke on the endless spying on mainland Chinese by flunkies of the Red Chinese government, most of whom are students themselves.

Where we stole the post title from, the horrendous "Brucesploitation" gung fu film Bruce Lee Fights Back From the Grave (1976) which wasn't even a fake Bruce Lee movie before the dubbers and the American releasing company got to it - it's a South Korean taekwando martial arts film!

Bonus dated slickness, a half-hour loop of "Crockett's Theme" from the Miami Vice TV show soundtrack:
